Dana L Rine

Dana L. Rine, 53, of Northumberland, PA passed away on January 1st in her home surrounded by her family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 16th, 1972, to Rose Anne Bradburn (Ziegler) and the late Raymond Ruch Jr. in Barnstable, Massachusetts. She was a proud 1990 graduate of Shikellamy High School where she made many lifelong friendships. She married William H. Rine Jr. on May 25, 1996. They have three children, Brent, Emily, and Matthew. Dana was a server for over 30 years at El Rancho Restaurant & Lounge in Northumberland. She loved the El Rancho crew and cherished relationships with her customers. Her children and family were the most important thing in her life. She loved family vacations and spending time with her friends. She had a huge heart and was always looking for ways to help her family, friends, and community. While appearing quiet to those that didn't know her, she loved to show off her quick wit and great sense of humor, often surprising those who knew her best. Dana is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, William, her children Brent Rice (Megan), Emily Galante (Nicholas), and Matthew Rine, siblings Nicole Beaman (Chris), Sean Ruch, and Allyssa Perlotte (Dante), and her mother Rose Anne Bradburn. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Ruch Jr, and stepfather John Bradburn. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9th from 9-11 am at Higher Hope Church, 1000 Race Street, Sunbury, PA 17801, followed by a service at 11 am officiated by Pastor Mark Gittens.
