Shirley Betty Silver (nee Apfelbaum), passed away on October 24, 2024. Wife of the late Lawrence “Babe” Silver. Mother of Cindy (Domenic) Martino and Elliot (Devorah) Silver. Grandmother (Mom Mom) of Rachel Thompson (Wayne Zebley), Will Thompson, Domenic Martino IV and Danielle Minton. Great Grandmother also (Mom Mom) of Zoe, Wyatt and Laila Zebley, and Emma Minton.
Shirley was a loving and caring wife, mother, and Mom Mom. She was a talented singer and song writer who loved music, dancing and writing poems. Her beautiful voice will live on in the recorded music she left us. She always looked forward to being with her family, especially her great grandchildren. She taught them how to dance, sang with them while they danced around her. Even in her final year of her life she still wrote many poems for us to enjoy. She was extraordinary. She made an impact on so many people’s lives, she truly cared about people and made them laugh. She will be missed tremendously.
Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Wednesday 1 PM precisely at Montefiore Cemetery (sec. PA-G), 600 Church Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046. Contributions in her memory may be made to:
