Shirley J. Strohmeyer

Shirley J. Roberts Strohmeyer, age 81, of Erie, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Alverda, PA on October 1, 1941, a daughter of the late Donald and Mary Clevenger Roberts.
Shirley graduated from Penn Manor High School in 1959. She was the owner and operator of Hilltop Beer Distributor for 17 years and later worked part-time for Grandview Beer for 22 years. Shirley was a member of St. Boniface Church and was the Cub Scout Den Leader for Pack 154. She enjoyed bowling and loved being a mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald W. Roberts, Jr., and Gerald A. Roberts; her sisters, Mabel Larue Fleming, Twila Scott, and Thelma Repine; her three siblings in infancy, Howard Roberts, Robert Roberts, and baby Roberts; her sister-in-law, Cynthia Roberts; and her son-in-law, Brian Okicki.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Paul J. Strohmeyer; her daughter, Karen Okicki, of Erie; her two sons, Randy Strohmeyer (Darlene) of Wattsburg, and Greg Strohmeyer (Sharon), of Erie; her sister, Dorothy Pesaniello (John), of New Jersey; her brother, James Roberts, of Erie; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. on Sunday, November 13th from 2 to 5 p.m. and the following morning at St. Boniface Church from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass there at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
