Shirley Eileen Tullio

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Shirley Tullio, who departed this world peacefully at the remarkable age of 98 on May 19th, 2025.

Born Shirley Eileen Jardon on September 4, 1926, she, along with her five siblings, was raised on a farm in Hotchkiss, Colorado before the comforts of indoor water or electricity. She was a cherished wife to Peter Tullio, devoted mother of 3 children, Aloha Tullio, Garry (Joyce) Tullio, and Richard (Jeanna) Tullio, the adored grandmother of 5, the proud great-grandmother of 10, and the deeply loved great great-grandmother of 5.

Shirley was an amazing mother and homemaker first, but enjoyed her time as a Postmaster in Somerset, Colorado. She could often be found crafting or tending her flowers and garden. A life lived to the fullest, her’s was a testament to enduring love, boundless kindness and a beauty that radiated from within.

Services will be held at St. Michael’s Church in Delta on Tuesday, May 27. Rosary begins at noon and Mass at 1:00 pm. Join our family in the church hall for the reception.
