Shirley Ann Watson

Shirley Ann Watson, 74, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on July 13, 2023. Shirley was born on July 2, 1949, in Mount Vernon, Missouri, to John and Lorene (Wecker) Kisling. She graduated from McAuley Catholic High School in Joplin. She had been a resident of this area her whole life. She worked for the Carthage R-9 school district for 25 years.
Shirley was united in marriage to Robert Jerry Watson on February 28, 1975; he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Sharp Bangs (John) of Vancleave, Mississippi, and Julie Kellogg (Tracy) of Carthage, Missouri; two sons, Dustin Kisling of Carthage, Missouri, and Kenny Watson (Jenny) of Oronogo, Missouri; five sisters, Debbie Henson (Bill) of Cassville, Missouri, Janice Starling of Live Oak, Florida, Mary Abshier of Carthage, Missouri, Dorothy Schrader of Carthage, Missouri, and Anita Ritchie (Steve) of Carthage, Missouri; two brothers James Wecker (Connie) of Lincoln, California, and Leroy Kisling of Carthage, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Cameron Hayes-Watson, Victoria Sharp, Devin Williamson, Maddie Williamson, Cody Watson, Halie Watson, Jayden Watson, Kassidee Watson, Kaislee Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lorene Kisling, and her granddaughter McKenzie Kisling.
