Shirley Wikstrom Obituary
Born June 13, 1935 - February 6, 2026
Shirley Ann Wikstrom passed away on February 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unmistakable spirit. There truly was not a person who met Shirley who did not love her. She had a magnetic personality. She was outspoken, and unapologetically herself, right up until the very end.
Shirley found joy in the simple pleasures that brought people together. She loved venturing to the casino, playing bingo with her family, and hosting gatherings filled with food, conversation, and laughter. Fiercely proud of her roots, Shirley loved Detroit and had a deep appreciation for its music and culture, especially the sounds of Kid Rock and Eminem. Her sass, humor, and honesty were part of her charm and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wikstrom, her daughter Diane parks, son in law Mike Shepler, grandson Robert Parks. She is survived by her beloved children: daughter Mary Shepler, and sons David (Sandy) Morris, Dennis (Karen) Morris, and Dean (Dawn) Morris. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Dustin (Lisa) Shepler, Amy (Garron) Vasilion, Tyler (Jana) Shepler, Timothy Parks, Matt Morris, Dean (Bethany) Morris, Leanne (Brian) Koning, Ashley (Matt) Hester, Carly Morris, Corey (Nicole) Morris, Jason (Monica) Morris, and Jennifer (Dennis) Ciacelli, as well as several great grandchildren, each of whom she loved deeply and proudly.
Shirley's presence filled every room she entered. Her laughter, strength, and fierce love for her family will live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence for the special care they gave to Shirley.
