I can't believe after all of these years of wondering if she was okay, after losing all contact with her... she has passed. This is truly sad to hear. She was my friend and an amazing woman! RIH queen❤

Oh wow!!! Is this the Shonda Evans I know. Whose mother passed away in 2009??? If so, I sold her and her mother a condo in Paramount Ca in 1994.
My deepest condolences for real. May 2020 and I'm just now finding out. Please find me on FB under Rod Calhoun.

Hey Mom,
I am very grateful to be your eldest. You've always taught me the importance of being prepared, organized, and doing everything right first. I miss all of our conversations and bonding experiences. I miss making you laugh and smile when I make references to things you enjoy. I miss watching TV with you and eating all kinds of sweets. I miss your lectures about life. I miss watching you groove to your favorite songs. And most importantly, I miss our walks around the park at night just to clear our minds.
I look up to you in so many ways! Because of you, Mom, I now know how to carry myself when things do not fall into place and also look out for those who need assistance.
Thank you for everything you have done. I want to make you proud as much as I can. I know Teri is in touch.
I love you and Happy Birthday! You're 42!
P.S. I saved you an Almond Snickers.

I will always treasure the times we spent studying in college for exams. Gone too soon. May God wrap you in the palm of his hands and bring you eternal comfort.
