Shondria "Shon" Augustine

Shondria "Shon" Augustine of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 56. She was born on May 12, 1969, in Waco, Texas, to Donald Scott Young and Laura Faye Clark.

Shon married the love of her life, Clarence "Rocky" Augustine, on October 14, 2000, in Plano, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with faith, family, and love. A devoted follower of Christ, Shon was a member of Word of Restoration in Rosharon, Texas, and a former member of Fellowship Christian Center Church in Plano, Texas. Her faith guided every aspect of her life, and her warmth and compassion touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence "Rocky" Augustine of Sugar Land, Texas; sons, Stefan Dion Walton (Lola) of McKinney, Texas, and Corey Augustine of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Shanell Garcia (Oscar) of Missouri City, Texas; and five cherished grandchildren, Ariah Augustine of McKinney, Texas, Ethan Garcia of Missouri City, Texas, Evan Garcia of Missouri City, Texas, Gunnar Gwizdowski of McKinney, Texas, and Teddi Walton of McKinney, Texas. She is also survived by her father, Scotty Young (Jan) of Waco, Texas; sister, Cassondra Fitts (Kyle) of Aubrey, Texas; and brothers, Victor Clark (Judy) of Waco, Texas, and Rodney Clark (Sonya) of Waco, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Shon was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Laura Faye Jones; brother, Roderick "Pooh" Clark; grandmother, Velma "Big Mema" Clark; and stepfather, Darryl Jones.

Shon will be remembered for her unwavering faith, joyful spirit, and the love she poured into her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Fellowship Christian Center Church, 1609 14th St, Plano, Texas 75074. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive friends during a visitation an hour prior to the service at Fellowship Christian Center Church.
