Shonetta Shondrea Coby

Shonetta S. Coby was born on October 05, 1975, in Dallas, Texas.

She received her formal education at South Oak Cliff High School: Class of 1994.

She furthered her education at El Centro College in Dallas, Texas studying Fashion Design.

She accepted Christ as her Savior at First Revelation Baptist Church in 1989. Later on, she became a member of Concord Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.

She enjoyed shopping and traveling, always looking fabulous (like a Diva) in her high heels. In her leisure time, she enjoyed being with her kids, grandkids, and spending time with her sisters and cousins.

Shonetta Coby departed this life on September 25, 2025. She was preceded in death by her mother Vernetta R Coby, grandmother Dorothy Johnson, and her uncle Tony Anthony Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Her dad, Murelee Johnson Jr; Two daughters, Eboni Coby and Caprina Sutton; Her grandmother, Rosana Coby; Her uncle, Richard Coby; Three aunts, Ruby Carter, Judy Johnson, and Ann Brown; Two sisters, Tonya Coby and Jasmine Burwell; Adopted sister, Jakai Coby; Three grandkids, Lorenzo Williams, Ka'Layah Dudley, and Zayne Hatten; Two bonus grandchildren, Armani and Jarrod; Two nieces, Destiny Sorrells and Elissa Burwell; One nephew, Carson Burwell; Two great-nephews, Amir Pace and Kairo Henderson; And a host of close cousins, family, and friends.
