Shorty Wright

Shorty was born on July 30, 1925 and passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. Shorty was a resident of Camden, Tennessee at the time of passing. Mr. Wright was proud to have served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was part of the Occupation Force of Japan. Memberships include Natchez Trace Baptist Church, the VFW, American Legion and Camden Masonic Lodge 179. Survivors include: Wife: Anita Wright of Camden, TN Son: Terry (Margie) Wright of Cane Ridge, TN Daughter: Lisa (Alan) Flowers of Franklin, TN Sister: Janice Wiseman of Camden, TN Grandchildren: Molly (Dan) Cummings, Cassie (Spencer) Petett, Savannah Flowers, Shelby Flowers Great Grandchild: Maggie Ann Cummings Many Nieces and Nephews Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11 AM at the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Stanford and Bro. Steve Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery in Holladay, TN. Visitation with the Wright family will be on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 pm and again on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 am. A Masonic service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Natchez Trace Baptist Church.
