Sibyl Bolton Obituary
SIBYL BOLTON
Henderson, TN: Sibyl Blondell Morrison Bolton, age 82, passed away March 8, 2026, at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on December 6, 1943, in the Montezuma Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Robert Wesley and Hazel Bell Hearn Morrison. She attended Chester County Schools and later Beauty School to become a cosmetologist. She worked at Goldsmiths, Macys, Wesley Jackson as well as having her own shop for a time.
She enjoyed reading, making jewelry, cooking, watching TBN, fashion and beauty. She loved making her customers look beautiful.
She especially loved spending time with her family.
She also loved Jesus and was a member of The Gathering Place in Gadsden, TN.
Mrs. Bolton is survived by a son, Barry Brandon Bolton (Joy) of Henderson and a daughter, Daphne Hunt (Rusty) of Henderson; two grandchildren, Adam Hunt and Zane Bolton and two great grandchildren, Coady Wadley and Sladen Hunt; a sister, Teresa Rose of Jackson and a brother, Dwight Morrison of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert Morrison and Glenn Morrison and two sisters, Alice Fay Patterson and Imogene Williams.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 12th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Clint Burkhead officiating. Burial will follow at Haltoms Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM service time Thursday.
