Sidney Dewayne Andrews, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, in the heart of Dallas, Texas—where he was born on May 11, 1957. He was a man whose life was woven together by laughter, love, and deep familial bonds, leaving behind a mosaic of cherished memories that will echo through the lives of those who knew him.

A proud graduate of the South Oak Cliff High School Class of 1975, Sidney was known not only for his academic endeavors but also for his vibrant personality. He had a unique ability to light up a room, drawing people in with his warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter. Sidney had a knack for storytelling that captivated all who gathered around him, whether it was during family gatherings or casual evenings spent playing cards and dominoes.

His joyful spirit came alive in the simple pleasures—be it a spirited game of pool, engaging in friendly competition over bingo, or sharing a hearty laugh with loved ones. Sidney's passion for family was palpable; he believed wholeheartedly in the strength of these connections, fostering a sense of togetherness that will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved him.

A cousin, Marcia Henderson, who unselfishly became caretaker to him and Forrest which is a testament of their family bond. and love.
