Sid was always center stage in any room he entered. He was a go getter and energetic, always making moves. He knew what he wanted to get out of life and always spoke about his plans for the future with confidence and certainty. He was charismatic, stylish, and seemed to always take pride in his appearance and physique. Sid was no stranger to grief, as he had to master the art of morning earlier than most; and I am still in awe of the strength it must have took for him to push forward, through loss after tremendous loss with the passing of his daughter, father, and close cousin, Alec - all by the young age of 22.. This speaks volumes about the resilience that Sid honed to his character and undoubtedly helped shape him into being courageously unstoppable in everything he pursued. He had no choice but to carry himself in a manner that some might mistake for entitlement, but then again, entitled to or not entitled to, it was Sids enormous heart and his longing to love and be loved that I witnessed while staying at Sid´s grandmothers house. Sid would always pull up and stroll in, excited to be home and eager to see what his grand mom had cooked. I choose to remember Sid fixing his plate, and then often times he would sit down with us. We would eat, and talk about our days or current events and then, just as swiftly as he had strolled in, he would stroll out... because he always had things to do, places to go, and people to see. May God deliver Sid to a resting place of peace and comfort those who are left behind and who have the impossible task of trying to fill the unmeasurable void that will forever be in our hearts in Sid´s absence. Sweet dreams, darling, and happy birthday. My thoughts and Prayers are with Sid´s mother, Andrea- as a mother myself I cannot fathom the severity of your pain during this sorrow filled time of tragedy, may my condolences and remarks there in prove to resemble the greatness I saw in Sid, and a testament to the profound impact you had as his mother, on the shaping and nurturing of a remarkable young man who is gone too soon but whom will never be forgotten. All my Love
