Sidney Dorfman

Sidney was born on March 15, 1919 and passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018. Sidney was a resident of Worcester, Massachusetts at the time of passing. Sidney graduated from the University of Maryland and was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army in France and Belgium. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 10:00AM ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 8TH IN TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will follow in B'Nai Brith Cemetery. A Memorial Observance Reception will be held at the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester immediately following the interment, approximately at noon time. Memorial Observance - Shiva - will continue in the Community Room of Eisenberg Assisted Living, 631 Salisbury Street, Worcester from 6PM to 8PM on Wednesday, August 8th, and 1PM to 4PM on Thursday, August 9th and Friday, August 10th. Shiva will continue at 180 Riverview Lane in Centerville, MA on Sunday, August 12th from 11AM until 4PM and on Monday, August 13th and Tuesday, August 14th from 1PM until 4PM both days.
