Sidney Henry Spross was born in Coryell County, Texas in 1923. He was one of 10 siblings. As a young man he joined the United States Army and served in World War II. He married Dorothy Christine Doty and they had a son, Clifford Spross. After many years, he retired from the Perry Co. in Waco. His true passion was playing country gospel music with his family and friends, and performing at local retirement homes. He is survived by his son, Clifford and wife, Betty Spross and their three daughters, Christy Anderson, Kandy Knowles and Sandy Harris. He is also loved by eight great-grandchildren.
