It is with great sadness that the family of Sidney Reed Wells announces his peaceful death from natural causes on October 5th, 2024. Mr. Wells, 70, of Acy, Louisiana, loved bass fishing, cooking for others, and LSU football. Sidney is preceded in death by his father, Truvie Wells. He is survived by his mother, Sylvia (née Cannon) Wells; two siblings: Brad (Robin) Wells and Trudy (Elvin) Norsworthy; three children: Benjamin (Emily) Wells, Kylie Glaze, and Jarrett Wells; nine grandchildren: Bennett Wells, Rhaylee Glaze, Daulton Templet, Owen Wells, Grayson Glaze, Isaac Glaze, Micalyn Glaze, Amelia Wells, and Mathilde Wells; and one great granddaughter: Saylor Hebert. The family is holding a private celebration of his life at a later date.
