Baby Silas Todd Culbert

Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through His servant Silas.

Silas Todd Culbert was given life by his creator and was born on January 12, 2026 at 2:27 am, the child of Bryan and Julia Culbert. Immediately following his birth, he received the gift of Holy Baptism and became a child of God. While being held in his parents' arms, God blessed Silas with a holy death at 3:00 am and took him home to rest in the arms of Jesus to await the resurrection of the dead.

Silas is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ronda Turner. He is survived by his parents, Bryan and Julia [Turner], his big brother Micah, and his grandparents, Jonathan Turner, and Jeffrey and Laura Culbert.

The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for our brother Silas.

A funeral service for Silas will take place Saturday, January 17, 9:30AM at Ascension of Christ Lutheran Church, 16935 W. 14 Mile Rd., Beverly Hills, MI 48025. Immediate family only Burial to follow at United Memorial Gardens in Plymouth, MI.
