WATERTOWN - It is with profound sadness that the family of Silas Thompson, age 30, of Watertown, share the news of his peaceful passing on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Silas was born on March 12, 1995, in Waterbury, CT son of Clarence and April (Angelica) Thompson. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and was employed as a mover for William B Meyer, United Van Lines. Silas had a passion for reading, particularly enjoying historical literature. He was also an accomplished guitarist, writing songs and poetry that reflected his creative spirit. A devoted sports fan, Silas was an enthusiastic supporter of the New England Patriots, always looking forward to game days.
Left to honor his memory besides his parents, are his siblings; Krystal Thompson, Benjamin Thompson, Samuel Thompson, Grace Thompson, and William Barrows, and his grandparents; Deborah and Walter Woods. He also leaves his two nephews; Matthew and Lucas Thompson, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects and visit with the Thompson family on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Casey-O’Neill Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 742 Main Street, Oakville, CT 06779. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
