Simona La Cour-Gurule, age 24, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on February 13, 2025. Simona is survived by her mother, Melissa La Cour; grandparents, Pete and Barbara La Cour; grandmother, Lupe Gurule; uncles, Eric La Cour, Vince La Cour, and Ruben La Cour; aunt, Sharee Romero and husband, Michael; Godfather, Lawrence Gurule Jr and wife, Elena; Godmother, Karli La Cour; cousins, Phillip and Dominic La Cour, Lawrence Gurule lll, Gabrielle Gurule, Chantel Romero, Crystal Romero and Michael Romero Jr.; several extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Gurule and grandfather, Lawrence Gurule. A visitation will be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with a Vigil Service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. after the Vigil Service. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Gurule Jr., Lawrence Gurule lll, Karli La Cour, Jayme Fuentes, Phillip La Cour and Dominic La Cour. Honorary Pallbearer will be damion La Cour.
