In Loving Memory of Simone Marie Orosco Madrigal
May 29, 1964 - December 29, 2025
Simone Marie Orosco, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, godmother, and friend, passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on May 29, 1964, Simone grew up in
Livingston, California, where she attended Livingston High School. She was the cherished daughter of Carol Manning and Jancinto Orosco, and stepdaughter to Ralph.
Simone's life was filled with love, resilience, and generosity. She was first married to Miguel Madrigal, who tragically passed away in 1989. Believing she could not have children, Simone opened her heart and home to Consuelo, whom she lovingly adopted, and Alvaro. Known for her nurturing spirit, she became "Nina" to countless godchildren and was adored for her deep love of kids.
In 2003, Simone married Sergio Perez after meeting him at a dance club-a meeting that grew into a lasting bond. Together, they welcomed their miracle baby, Dominique Perez, in 2002 after the heartbreaking loss of their first daughter, who passed away before birth. Later, in 2005, their family grew again with the birth of Daniela Perez. Simone treasured her daughters and built a joyful life with them. Simone was deeply involved in her community and her daughters' school activities, often volunteering, coaching, and organizing city events. She had a passion for yard sales-both hosting and attending-and was known for her outgoing, happy nature. Simone was the life of every party, always dancing to Mexican music, especially cumbias, and lighting up the dance floor when "La Chona" played. Her signature red lipstick, favorite colors of red and burgundy, and love for red rose were part of her vibrant personality.
She worked as a caregiver and spent many years babysitting for migrant workers, offering her love and support to families in need. Simone was also a huge San Francisco 49ers fan, proudly cheering for her favorite team every season. Some of her happiest moments were spent watching games with family and friends, wearing her 49ers gear and celebrating every touchdown with joy and excitement. She will be remembered for her hard work, enormous heart, and ability to make everyone feel loved Her legacy of joy, compassion, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters Consuelo and son-in-law Moises Ruiz, Dominique Perez, and Daniela Perez; her mother Carol Manning; her father Jancinto Orosco; her younger brother Joe Orosco; her husband Sergio Perez;six grandchildren; one great grandson and as a loving Tía to three nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Miguel Madrigal, her stepfather Ralph, Tia Juanita, her grandson Sebastian and her newborn daughter Lupita Perez.
