Hillsborough, NJ- Sindee (nee Gross) Kenific, 64, entered into eternal life peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2021, with loving family by her side. Born and raised in New York, NY, daughter of Nathan Gross and the late Anna (nee Avery) Gross, she moved East Brunswick, NJ in 1988 before settling to Hillsborough.
Sindee graduated Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, NY, in 1975 and earned her associate degree in nursing from Kingsboro Community College, also in Brooklyn. She was proud to be a lifelong career registered nurse and an administrator for the Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer Group. Sindee enjoyed traveling with family and had a passion for cooking.
Sindee will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Robert Kenific, Jr.; loving daughters, Heather and her husband, Dan Hansult and Melissa and her husband, Robert Brower, Jr.; dear brother, Martin Gross and sister-in-law, Carole; cherished grandchildren, Avery and Riley Hansult and Trey, Nathan, and Sarah Brower; as well as many nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and feline friend, Smokey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, October 8 from 1-3 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Sindee's name to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation (tnbcfoundation.org).
