Skyler Ebersohl

EBERSOHL, SKYLER age 75, of Waterford, passed away May 25, 2023. He was born on January 30, 1948, in Pontiac, Michigan, son of the late Clarence and Caddie Ebersohl (nee Cunningham); beloved husband of Susan for over 33 years; dear father of James Ebersohl, Terry Mead, and Miranda (Jason) Vandegriff; proud grandfather of Myra Ebersohl, Destiny Ebersohl-Abram, Tristan Bowers, Devon Mead, Melanie Mead, Ashley Mead, Hailey Mead, Monique O'Berry, and Chase Vandegriff; great grandfather of two and one more on the way. Upon graduating from Pontiac Central High School, Skyler was drafted into the United States Army and served in the 101st Airborne as a Corporal in Vietnam from 1969-1971. In 1987, he met the love of his life Susan and together they raised a blended family in Auburn Hills. He worked as a welder and mechanic for many years until he retired. In his free time, he enjoyed building cars, watching classic movies, watching the Tigers, spending time in Port Huron, and collecting Civil War memorabilia. He also enjoyed history-especially anything to do with the Titanic, U.S. Wars, and the Mafia. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 2:00 PM (visitation beginning one hour prior). The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home- WATERFORD, 4131 SASHABAW RD.
