Rita Ebersohl Obituary
Rita was born on December 31, 1922, in Zeigler to Stanley and Genevieve (Wisniewki) Nowacki. She was united in marriage to Will G. Ebersohl on August 16, 1943, in Murphysboro. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2002. Rita was retired having been a secretary.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Theda Ebersohl; step grandchild, Denee (John) Jordan; step grandson-in-law, Tony Cicchetti; step great-grandchildren, Mia & Aiden Jordan, Taylor Vinson, Anthony Cicchetti and Alex Shepherd; step-great-great grandchild, Milo Shepherd.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-granddaughter, Meredith Cicchetti.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Vantrease-Pyle Funeral Home in Zeigler with Fr. Tom Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at Desoto Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
Vantrease-Pyle Funeral Home of Zeigler is entrusted with the arrangements.
