Smokey Robinson, Sr. entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the age of 34. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Smokey was a graduate of Helen Cox High School. He was the owner and operator of Bounce Nation Party Rentals. Devoted father of Terrione and Serenity Johnson, Se’Myra, Smokey, Jr., Jayden, and Kayden Robinson. Son of Rayfield Robinson, Jr., and Renice Robinson. Grandson of Jimmetta Fernandez, Rena Ventris, Theresa Jones, and the late James Fernandez, and Rayfield Robinson, Sr. Brother of Sugar Ray, Jackie, Sunny, Magic, Shemeka and Holly Robinson, and Raymond Johnson. Nephew of the late Sterling Ventris and Walter Smith, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Rock Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Rock Baptist Church, 2300 Rochelle St. Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30am until service time at the above named church.
