Sohail Fareed Amari passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the age of 83. He was a loving father to Linda Amari Ficarra (Vincent), Fares Amari (Melissa), and Ameer Amari.
Sohail (Sal) was born on January 5, 1942, in Amman, Jordan, to Fareed Mousa Ammari and Nufeh Ammari. He was a successful businessman who resided in Gretna, Louisiana.
He is survived by Mary Karmout (Fahed), Majdaleen Ammari (George), and Phoebe Ammari. He was preceded in death by Sami Ammari and Jacob Ammari.
In accordance with his wishes, a funeral service will not be held. We encourage you to commemorate his life privately, in a manner that is meaningful to you.
