BLUFFTON -- Sondra May Amstutz, 61, passed away July 25, 2025 at her residence. Sondra was born November 5, 1963 in Lima to the late Phillip and Barbara (Underwood) Engle. On April 25, 1987 she married Tim Amstutz who survives.
Sondra was a 1982 graduate of Allen East High School and received her associate's degree in business management from Rhodes State College, Lima. She worked at Airfoil Textron and Midbus both of Bluffton. Sondra was a member of County Line Church of Ada where she was active in the children's ministry. She was a 4-H advisor for the Beaverdam Bunch and worked with the Allen County Fair. Sondra loved babysitting and nurturing children.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Amstutz of Bluffton; three daughters, Samantha (Robert) Meaige of Plain City, Ohio, Sarah (Lance) Jackson of Harrod, Sierra (Blake) Neu of Elida; eight grandchildren, Mara and Rylee Meaige, Ellie, Rachel and Rebekah Jackson, Evelyn, Everett and Emerson Neu; a brother, Steve Engle of Ottawa; and a sister, Melany (Bill) Stokes of Lakeview, Ohio.
Sondra was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Barbara Engle; two brothers, James Engle, Greg "Bugs" Engle and a sister, Donella Engle.
A memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2025 at County Line Church, 4227 N. Hardin Road, Harrod, Ohio. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. - 08:00 p.m. at the church and again on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the County Line Church Children's Ministry.

Tim: I did contract safety training for Rhodes State College and worked for Sondra at Midbus. Later on I did training at Dana and when the full time long term employee dropped the ball, Sondra in her short stint there stepped up and bailed us out big time. Classy lady all the way. Really made it easy to work for/with her. So very sorry for your loss.
