Sondra Webb Obituary

Sondra Webb
January 29, 1939 - March 14, 2026
Sondra Webb (Czapanskiy), a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on March 14th, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was 87 years old.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2026, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta, Colorado.
Born in Holly, Colorado on January 29, 1939, to Faye Barth (Collins), and was later lovingly raised by Clifford Barth. Sondra grew up on her family's wheat farm which instilled a deep love for the Plains. She graduated from Holly High School in 1957. She continued to pursue her passion for learning and attended UNC Greely. This would lead her to a banking career in Paonia, Colorado. She went on to marry her first husband Rolland Holt of Paonia. This marriage brought her what she cherished most. Her 3 boys. Bill, Brad, and Don. She would later divorce and become a long-time resident of Delta. On October 11, 1972, Sonda married her love Harold Webb of Delta, Colorado.
Sondra was a beacon of kindness in her community. She volunteered at Delta Memorial Hospital as a "Pink Lady" for over 50 years. She played her clarinet in the Montrose Community Band, taught swimming lessons, was a member of N.F. Snowmobile Club, Boy Scout Leader, and was an AWANA Club Leader for several decades. While her heart was in the Plains, she thoroughly enjoyed staying in the mountains at her cabin with family during both summer and winter. Her other favorite hobbies included traveling- especially to Hawaii- attending her class reunions, playing cards with friends and family, flying R.C Airplanes with her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She held an unwavering faith that carried her through her life, remaining strong and steadfast even in her final hours.
Sondra will be remembered for her grace, her deep love for others, and her warm, genuine smile that could light up the room. She had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her kindness was truly special, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Sondra is survived by her children. Bill (Lynette) Holt of Pueblo, CO, Brad (Kelly) Holt of Paonia, CO, Don (Dee) Holt of Cedar City, UT, Janine (Michael) Sitz and Lynda Webb, both of Grand Junction, CO. along with eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Sondra was preceded in death by her first husband Rolland Holt, husband Harold Webb, parents Faye and Clifford Barth, her daughter Karen Williams, three grandchildren, and her beloved dog Princess.
