Sonya Greene Obituary

She was born on November 8,1943 in The Bronx of New York City, to the parents Siegfred Frank and Rosalind Samuel. She attended Farmingdale State College in Nassau, NY. She went work as an Office Manager at the Democratic Headquarters in Mineola, NY. Afterwards she went on to put in 25 years at the Department of Motor Vehicles in New York. During this time she met the husband, John J. Greene, Sr., whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
She is survived by her sister, her four children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Niki Carney of Bevis Funeral Home (www.bevisfh.com or 850-385-2193) is assisting the Greene family with their arrangements.
