Ms. Sonya G. Osborne

Ms. Sonya G. Osborne, age 71, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.
Sonya was born on February 13, 1953 in Marietta, Georgia to Mr. Walter Allison Lochamy and Mrs. Dorothy E. Barnes. She worked as a bookkeeper for Home Depot for over 35 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Osborne; great grandchild, Aubrey; sisters, Ann Stoker and Edna Lee; brothers, Larry Lochamy and Charles Lochamy.
She is survived by her daughter, Tara Podany (Joe); grandchildren, Derek Osborne, Meagan Cates, Blake Osborne (Brooke), Austin Kelly (Kinsley), Gage Kelly, MaryClaire Podany; great grandchildren, Neiko, Romeo, Malachi, Saylor, Braelyn, Sylas; sisters, Martha Thomason, Gail Maner, Kathy Hanes; brother, Roger Lochamy; many other extended family and friends also survive.
Funeral Services for Ms. Sonya G. Osborne will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 2 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Cole and Mr. Danny Gamel officiating. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home; and on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 1 P.M. until the time of the service at 2 P.M.
