Condolences to the family! Mr. Merriweather was one of the most committed and excellent communicators that instructed us at Mobile County Training High School. He made a lasting impression on us. One of his sayings: "He who knows he knows is wise, but he who knows yet not knows is a fool, I'm not calling anyone a fool" May the Lord strengthen the family. God bless you.

Sending my prayers for his family. He was my math teacher at Mobile County Training School. He was one of the teachers that help get school buses for the many many kids that had to walk home. He also was my art teacher. Very nice teacher will be missed.

My condolences to the family of Mr Merriweather. One of the best teachers from my MCTS days. He was always eating his banana pepper sandwich, lol.. Kid's today needs this kind of teacher. May he rest on

I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great teacher he taught me at Mcts on 82-84 in math along with my cousin Ben Crenshaw and James Moore and many of my friend he was a great mentor to us all. Praying for the entire family

Sending prayers and sincere condolences to the Merriweather family and loved ones. Mr. Merriweather was a wonderful Middle school teacher. He cared about the future of young people and helped shape us in to who we are today and the direction of our paths. Mr. Merriweather commanded respect and knew how to relate to his students. His lessons will live on forever. May he rest in peace, power and the memory of us all.

I will always remember the fellowship with him and my Dad.. coach Jackson.
