Stacey Johnson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Memorial Chapel - East Wenatchee on Sep. 23, 2025.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stacey Ann Johnson, who left us on September 18, 2025, at the age of 61. Stacey was a cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, mother, friend, and caregiver. A woman of unique resilience, Stacey's early years spent in Washington developed her love of nature and empathy. She loved competitive skating and spending time with friends. As a young adult, she moved to Southern California and completed High School, earning the 'Iron Woman Award'. The 'Iron Woman Award' was presented to individuals who displayed exceptional courage and fortitude, overcoming significant personal challenges while still actively participating in their education. Her partner, Steven, was a significant source of support and encouragement. Together, they had a daughter, Samantha. Stacey thrived as a cocktail waitress, bartender, and trainer. Often finding a natural leading position everywhere she went. She later became a massage therapist and took great pride in her ability to help people in their healing and health journey. Known for her fierce independence, free spirit, quick wit, and sharp sense of humor, Stacey approached life with the ability to always be herself (no matter the room or company). Her colorful energy, verbiage, and spirit could always light up a room. She was a good listener, admired by many, and respected by all. Stacey had a natural power to cultivate and nurture community wherever she called home. She may have shown up late, but usually never empty handed. Stacey was known by many as the 'caregiver' and 'second mom'. She always wanted to make sure people were fed ("would you like some tea?") and knew they were loved. Her wisdom, kindness, and compassionate spirit left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her. A proud daughter of all things magical, Stacey was a source of light and safe space to those around her, imparting strength and insight throughout her life. Stacey will be dearly missed by her only daughter, Samantha; her only brother, Eric; her only nephew, Saxon; and family. Her legacy of love, compassion, and magic will continue to inspire those who knew her. A Zoom memorial service will be announced soon. Details will be shared for those who wish to honor Stacey's memory.
