Stacey Sofka

Stacey and I were housemates in college. She was one of my very best friends during that time and for a few years afterward before we lost touch. She was brilliant, HILARIOUS, and beautiful inside and out. With the knowledge that her life may be cut short, she always wanted to live purposefully and for the good. She was very dedicated to helping the causes of marginalized people. I loved her very much and know that if there is a heaven.... she's having a dance party, for sure.
