Stacey Weeks Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home - Dayton on Oct. 18, 2022.
Stacey Van Camp Weeks peacefully passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 while surrounded by loving family and friends.
She was born Thursday, September 24,1964 in Bethesda, Maryland to Darylene (neé Jones) and Eric Brian Van Camp. They were a military family and lived many places including Maryland, Wisconsin, California, North Carolina and Italy.
She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when she was eight years old.
Some of her favorite memories growing up were getting a bicycle for Christmas, hanging out at the pool at Page Manor with her friends, her mom's homemade lasagna and making a life-long best friend at girls summer camp. Another favorite memory was her time living in California, where she participated in a youth play dressed up in 1950's style clothing.
She graduated from Stebbins High School in 1982. Stacey was a flute player and participated in both Concert and Marching bands.
She loved to crochet blankets and was a voracious reader of novels. In the last few years of her life, Stacey was a resident of The Oaks of West Kettering, where she was attended to by their caring staff, and she was able to read over 100 books from the library.
Stacey is survived by a son, Shawn Grierson, daughter, Meghan Hinton, siblings, Michael Van Camp and Michelle Murawski, as well as grandchildren: Savannah Chase, Makaelin Stansell, Shawn JR Grierson, Jayden Grierson, Steven Hinton and Jaxton Grierson.
She was preceded in death by both parents, as well as her brother Darrel Murawski.
A Celebration of Stacey's Life Service is being planned.

Stacy, we only reconnected yr.and half ago. But it was like we hadn´t missed a day. The time that we spent together before you left us to go be with your mom and brother was priceless to me and days I will remember for rest of my days. So I was the one who taught you how to tie dye. I miss you every day .
