Staci Storey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Funeral Home, Cremation Center & Cemetery on Feb. 12, 2026.
Staci Storey, born December 7, 1976, passed away on February 6th 2026 at the age of 49.

Staci had a deep love for music, especially the songs of Jelly Roll, which brought her comfort and understanding through life's highs and lows. One lyric that reflects her journey is:

"I am not the only one who's been broken, I am not the only one who's been scarred."

Her life was sadly ruled by addiction, a battle she fought for many years. While her struggles were heavy, they did not fully define her. In her own ways, Staci was funny, caring, and capable of bringing laughter and warmth to those around her.

She is survived by her father Henry Parish, her siblings Tami Parish, Nicole Parish, and John Parish, her 7 children Morgan Keel, Saige Midkiff, Aiden Midkiff, Havyn Midkiff, Braylynn Midkiff, Hope Midkiff, and Brynann Storey, her beloved grandchildren Ezlynn Midkiff and Arayah Midkiff, and her nieces and nephews Jamaal Wilson, Mykell Wilson, Kyron Echols, and Jaysa James, and her ex spouses, but long time friend Jamie Storey.

Jamie Storey was together with Staci for over 30 years and created 7 beautiful children together although they weren't together at the time of her death he will always hold her close to his heart and all the memories they shared.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Parrish, whom she loved dearly and is now reunited with in heaven.

Staci will be remembered for her humor, her love of music, and the moments of kindness and connection she shared. Her story reflects both the hardships she endured and the humanity she carried within her despite the life she lived.
