Stacy Shannon Stroud, born September 30, 1973, went to be with Lord on Friday, July 12, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer with her family by her side.
She was employed at Christus Trinity Clinic as a nurse and loved her work family and took great pride in taking care of her patients.
She was extremely devoted to her family and had a strong Christian faith. She had a love of animals and had two bulldogs, Marley and Jenny, that were always by her side!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Emma Harper.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Christopher Stroud; her children, Jessie and Hunter Clayton, Gage and Meredith Ratliff; Corbin Stroud; Christa Stroud; and Amber and Larry Bailey. Her precious grandbabies, Huck and Henry Clayton, Presley Stroud; Kasleigh Stroud; Oaklynn Lewis, Joshua and Ayden Bailey. Two sisters; Jan and David Edwards, Kerri and Scott Kinsey, and one brother David Harper. Including numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home in New Boston, Texas, Tuesday July 16, 2024, from 2-3 p.m. Funeral Services at 3 p.m. with Bro. Jerry Ford officiating.
For my Family and Friends:
I am home and healed in Heaven, so happy and so bright. There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain I felt is over and the restlessness tossed away. I am now at peace forever and safely home to stay. He came himself to meet me and took me by the hand. I'm rejoicing with my heavenly family and know that one day we'll be together again.
