Stacy Tullis Funeral Livestream
On September 2, 2025, Stacy Tullis of Abernathy, Texas, gained the most beautiful set of wings at the age of 42. Stacy Blount was born in Lubbock Texas, February 24, 1983, to Julia Cummings Blount and John Blount. She was raised in the small farming community of Cotton Center, Texas, where she attended Cotton Center ISD, graduating in 2001. Stacy continued her education at South Plains College before beginning her adult life.
Family was always at the center of Stacy’s world. She shared a special bond with her siblings Matt, Juliann, and Holley and cherished the closeness they maintained throughout her life.
Stacy’s lifelong love story with her husband, Ross, began in childhood as their families were close friends. Their friendship blossomed into love during high school, and on July 7, 2007, they were united in marriage. Together, they built a strong and loving family, welcoming three children. Rhett whom was their first child. She had Cora and Rallen shortly after. Stacy and Ross raised their family in Abernathy, Texas, creating a home filled with warmth, love, and faith.
In 2023, Stacy and Ross fulfilled a dream by purchasing a vacation home, where they made countless memories and developed amazing friendships. Stacy was also a devoted and joyful aunt to her 14 nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Stacy will be remembered for her deep love of family, her kindness, and the joy and laughter she brought to all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ross Tullis, their children, Rhett, Cora, and Rallen. Parents John Blount and Julia Cummings Blount. Her sister Juliann McCarty, brother Matthew McCarty, sister Holley Riley; and her loving in-laws Debby and Rodney Tullis. She also leaves behind 14 cherished nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Abernathy, Texas with J.D. Templeton officiating. Funeral Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.
