In lieu of flowers, you are invited to bring a dog or cat toy to the Celebration of Life to be donated in Stacy’s name or donate directly to Stray Rescue of Saint Louis in Stacy’s name. Stray Rescue is where Stacy and her roommate adopted their beloved rescue dog Reece.
Stacy Michelle Youngers was born on March 7, 1999, in Kansas City, MO. She is a 2017 graduate of the International Baccalaureate (IB) high school diploma program at North Kansas City High School. Growing up, Stacy was a Girl Scout, danced and did gymnastics, participated in the local Assisteens community volunteer program, and played the viola in her high school orchestra.
Stacy is a 2021 graduate from Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Management. While at Missouri S&T, she was a Chancellor’s Scholar, a PRO Leader, which was a group of student leaders that welcomed new students into the university, and a member of various department organizations and honor societies.
Following college, Stacy worked at Mastercard in Saint Louis, MO most recently as a Product Manager. While there, she held leadership positions in Mastercard’s Young Professionals group, a networking and community service group.
Stacy is remembered for her kindness, her fun-loving spirit, and her incredible sense of fashion. Her favorite things included Carly Rae Jepsen, Taylor Swift, the band A R I Z O N A, Cheez-Its, sparkling water, coloring, supporting women’s sports, and attending concerts. She was passionate about animal welfare, was a vegetarian since 2017 and adopted a rescue dog with her roommate. She loved to take photos with her family and friends. She was bubbly, wise beyond her years, and beautiful inside and out.
Stacy is survived by her parents, Dixie and Loren, and her sister, Julie, all of Kansas City, MO; by her best friend and roommate, Amber Thrasher, and their rescue dog, Reece, of St. Charles, MO; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Stacy is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Richard and Violet and her paternal grandparents Raymond and Elvira.
Stacy was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and coworker and an amazing light gone far too soon.
