Stanley Wayne Crawford

Stanley Wayne Crawford, a resident of Rock Spring, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the age of 71. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Stanley earned an Associate Degree of Applied Technology in Electronics Technology from Walker Technical Institute. He was an avid electronics hobbyist, computer programmer and art enthusiast. Stanley enjoyed music and working around the house, also.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Doreen Crawford; father, John A. Crawford; mother, Florence L. Crawford; daughter, Laura Lynette Dotson; and sister, Terri Teresa Ivey.
Stanley is survived by his sons, Kevin Wayne Crawford of Rossville; stepson, Mike (Tammy) Gamble of LaFayette; grandchildren, Carly (Stuart) Wishart, Ashley Crawford, Katie Crawford, Mollie Crawford, Drake Crawford, Dwight Dotson, and Zachary Dotson; great grandchildren, Liam, Jameson, and Harrison Wishart; sister, Thelma Jean Phillips of Wildwood, GA; and nephews, Cory Crawford, Adam Ellis, Evan Ellis, and Nash Phillips.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, January 4, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Max Bates officiating.
Interment will take place at Crest-Lawn Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held Sunday from 2 p.m. to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
