Stanley Laross Forrest was a husband and a friend to many. On April 29, 2024 after living 66 years of life, God granted him peace as he journeyed to his heavenly home.
Stanley was born June 12, 1957 in Horse Cave, KY. His birth mother was the late Betty Lou Crenshaw. He was adopted by the late Carl and Iva Mae Forrest. He joined Woodsonville Baptist Church at an early age. He graduated from Hart County High School in 1976 and was a US Army veteran having served four years. Upon returning home, Stanley was employed by the Dana Corporation and Sumitino in Edmonton, KY. Then Stanley Married Diana Lou Smith Forrest who survives him. Besides his wife he survived by two brothers, Frank Withrow Jr. (Vicky) and Marvin Withrow, Bowling Green, KY, two sisters, DeAnna Lewis (Nathaniel) and Sheena Withrow, Bowling Green, KY, a good friend, Danny Jordan; other aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Woodsonville Baptist Church with Rev. K.T. Ford and Rev. W.K. Rowlett officiating. Congregation may start arriving at 10:30 AM CT.
