Stanley Russell Guernsey entered heaven on September 5th, 2025 at Willapa Care Center. He was born in Strong City, Oklahoma on September 17th, 1934 to Virgil and Lillie (Hill) Guernsey.

The family moved to South Bend when Stan was 8. He attended both South Bend and Raymond schools. He enlisted in the Navy in 1952. He married his high school sweetheart Mary Louise Lomsdalen on November 22nd, 1953. Stan worked at Weyerhaeuser for over 40 years. 

Stan attended the Raymond Assembly of God Church and held a position of board member and treasurer. He helped build the current Crossroads Church.

Stan leaves a legacy of loved ones including his wife, Mary of 71 years, his twin daughters Becky (Steve) Coburn, Debbie (Greg) Blevins, daughter Vickie (Randy) Bale, twin sons Daniel (Marie) Guernsey and David (Sharon) Guernsey.

He leaves behind 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Clista, Virginia and Norma along with brothers Othello and Wayne.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.

The family would like to thank the Raymond ambulance, Dr. Hill and the Willapa Care Center.
