Stanley Christopher "Stan" Gutowski, 59, of Summerfield, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Ohio Health Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on January 24, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland and adopted by Stanley and Laura B. (Hoover) Gutowski.

Stan always gave the best advice, he was the best friend you could ever ask for, he was a very family oriented man, a loving father, husband, papaw, uncle, and friend. Stan owned and operated his own maintenance business, C&J Services for over 30 years. He loved any and all time he was able to spend with friends and family. He enjoyed a good cup of coffee, watching the news, scrolling facebook marketplace, and working on jobs with his kids. He was a simple man who enjoyed the little things in life. He always said " This is the first day of the rest of your life" and would want everyone to continue to live by those words.

In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Richard Gutowski; mother, Cheryl Maistros, father, Richard Bailey; mother-in-law, Juanita Paboucek; fathers-in-law, Joseph Paboucek and Terry L. Saffell.

Stan is survived by his wife, Jennifer Gutowski; children, Christopher "Allen" Gutowski, Stanley Gutowski, Thomas (Emilee Gregg) Gutowski, Abby (Michael Christopher) Gutowski, Joseph (Breauhnna Hickle) Gutowski, Michelle (Trent Hill) Blair; mother, Mary Bailey; grandchildren, Aiden Gutowski, October Gutowski, Trinity Gutowski, Cohen Gutowski, Maverick Gutowski, Serenity Hill, Karsten Hill, Glenn Hill, Brianna Morris, and Skylynn Morris; and many "adopted" kids, nieces, nephews, and siblings.

Honoring Stan's wishes, cremation will take place with no additional services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Stan's care and arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
