Stanley David Hadley, 66, passed away at his home on November 19, 2022. He was a gentle, friendly, funny, and very down to earth man that would do anything for anyone. He had a very kind heart. His love of plants lead him to dedicate his career to being a Nurseryman from East Texas to Austin and back to his hometown of Shreveport. Stan loved the outdoors especially fishing! He had a keen interest in all aspects of nature and was especially fascinated with wolves and hawks. Stan also loved listening to music and was a guitar player himself.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Hadley of Trout Lake, Washington and his sister in law, Carol Hadley of Austin, Texas and many friends.
May his memory live on with all of those touched by his life.
A private memorial will be held in the spring

The last of your physical ashes were dispersed around the Aspen tree in our back yard while playing some if your favorite music. As I had memories of you, mom & Randy, I felt your presence. You would probably be delighted to know that it was not just David & I, but a big group of deer behind us all looking our way as if they were part of the celebration. The connected web of life. I love you all and miss you terribly. Karen

For all of us that remain to tell remember when stories, I'll miss my other 2 brothers. When I see a body of water from a creek, lake, river or ocean I think me & Stan ought to fish that if we haven't yet or do it again. Love to Karen, Carol and all who were a part of Stan's book of life.
