Stanley Miles Holoubek was born on January 25, 1929, to Joseph and Frances Holoubek in Phillips, WI. He passed away on July 23, 2023, at Rib Lake Health Services while under the care of Hope Hospice.
He attended Phillips High School through 10th grade. He married Adele Breit on September 2, 1952, at St. Mary’s Church in Chilton, WI; they made their home in Phillips. He had many jobs throughout his life, he worked as an Electrician, Milk Hauler, Logger, Maple Syrup Producer, and Dairy Farmer. He also worked for the Township of Worcester and the Price County Highway Department. He was a member of St. Therese Church, Equity Board, Price Electric Board, and involved in FFA trips. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Adela; children, Mark of Stevens Point and Beth (Daniel) Bryan of Phillips; grandchildren, Nathan (Kayce), Kaleigh (Matt) Loken, Jessica Bryan, Steven (Melinda) Bryan; and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth; his parents; sisters Sylvia Tom, Elsie Marsh, Sadie Dragovich, Pansy Soul; and brothers, Tom, Charles, and Laddie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, July 28, 2023, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 655 S. Lake Ave, Phillips, WI, 54555, with Father Lourdu Raju Madanu officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church and continue until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Phillips, WI. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
