Stanley "Uncle Stas" Jama Jr.

Stanley A. Jama Jr. "Uncle Stas" 63, lifelong resident of Chicago's south side, West Lawn neighborhood, passed away unexpectedly December 4, 2025. Loving brother of Christine Jama and the late Stella Sanchez; cherished Uncle Stas of Melissa Jama, Sierra Hutnik, Michelle (Gato) Beltran, Jason Sanchez, Richard Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, and Angelina Sanchez and great uncle Stas of Anthony Jama, Nicholas Hernandez, Olivia Jama, Vivienne Jama, Leah Hernandez, Alanis Jama, Koby Hernandez, Alexandria Jama, Jema Hernandez, and numerous more great nieces and nephews.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Stanley Jama and Elsa Lesinski.
Stanley enjoyed cooking, fishing, golfing, and spending time in the pool. He loved being outdoors, camping, and vacationing in Florida. Most of all Uncle Stas adored spending time with his family, especially his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends at Central Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave. Chicago, IL 60638 on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. Cremation following in accordance with Stanley's wishes.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made directly to the funeral home to help cover unexpected funeral costs to the family at 773-581-9000.
