Stanley Kent Keach devoted twenty-one years of distinguished service to the United States Navy marked by service, integrity, and quiet strength, achieving the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer (E9). A man of strength and humility, Stan embodied compassion, integrity, and quiet courage in every aspect of his life.
Following his distinguished naval career, Stan continued his commitment to public service through his work with the Department of Energy, where he served as an instructor. He was passionate about sharing his knowledge and mentoring others, always leading with patience, humility, and wisdom.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend whose gentle spirit and steadfast faith touched everyone he met.
Stan will be remembered for his kindness, his subtle humor, and his ability to make those around him feel safe, valued, and loved. His legacy lives on through the stories he shared, the wisdom he imparted, and the love he gave so freely. His life was one of purpose, devotion, and unwavering love - a legacy that continues to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know him.
From his daughter Barbra, "he was a hero - and she will always be Daddy's Girl."
Stan is deeply loved and remembered by his wife, Meirong Z. Keach; his stepdaughters, YiYi and JiaJia; their husbands ZhangChun and QinLei; and his step-granddaughters Qiqi, Momo, and Coco. He is also cherished by his brother, John Keach (Jeanne), his son, David Keach (Angela), his daughters, Barbra Keach (Tre) and Kathryn Keach, as well as by countless friends, coworkers, and all those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.
He is preceded in death by his sons, Stephen and Patrick Keach, and his brother Louis Keach.
The family takes comfort in the promises of God's Word, trusting that they will one day be reunited with Stan in His eternal presence.
