Stanley Aloysius MacFalda age 98 of Posen (formerly of Roseville) passed away at the Brook in Rogers City on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
He was born in Posen to Anthony and Elizabeth (Szczerowski) MacFalda.
Stanley graduated from Posen High School then went on to serve in the Korean War from September 13, 1950 until he was honorably discharged on September 12, 1952. He was first employed by the Chrysler Corporation on February 4, 1947 and retired on December 31, 1990 as a Pre-Production Vehicle Specialist at the Outer Drive Manufacturing Tech Center.
He is survived by his sister, Helen MacFalda of Posen; nieces and nephews, John (Laurie) Kieleszewski, Michael Kieleszewski, Helen Rocca, Dennis Kieleszewski, Robert (Debbie) Kieleszewski, Thomas Kieleszewski, Kathleen (Michael) Blake, Joseph (Patty) Kieleszewski, David (Vicki) Kieleszewski; and many great nieces and nephews.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Elizabeth; sister, Theresa (Harry) Kieleszewski and brother, Louis MacFalda.
Friends may visit at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Friday, September 20th from 12-Noon through time of his funeral Mass at 1 p.m. with Fr. Charlie Donajkowski officiating.
Posen VFW Post 7804 will accord military honors at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery immediately follow Mass.
Arrangements are in care of the Beck Funeral Home.
