Stanley Eugean Mostella, 65, husband of Jerri Anne Sims Mostella for 44 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
Mr. Mostella was born in Greenville to James Ronald Mostella and Jo Anne Sloan Mostella. He worked many years at Cryovac before retiring from Sherwin Williams Paints. Stanley loved music and especially playing the guitar. He was an avid reader and movie enthusiast. His hobbies included woodworking and carpentry. Stanley used his talents in helping friends and family with various home improvement projects.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Joey Mostyn; a daughter, Alicia McCannon with husband Bobby; a brother, Greg Mostella with wife Anita; a sister, Karen Finch with husband Terry; a sister-in-law, Becky Mostella; three grandchildren, Kayla Owens with husband Dillon, Macie McCannon, and Emily Wilson with husband J.J.; a great-grandson, Carter; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edwin Mostella.
A Celebration of Stanley's Life will be 2 o'clock Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Mostella Funeral Fund, c/o Anne Mostella, 415 E. North Street, APT 1-D, Greenville, SC 29601.
