Stanley Phelps Obituary
Publish in a newspaper

He was born November 22, 1942, in Athens County, the son of the late
Glen Robert and Nellie Mae Bolin Phelps. Stanley had worked in construction, and as grounds
keeper for Elm Golf Course, he was an avid hunter and made canes.
He is survived by his wife Selma Sue Boring Phelps, sons Danny E. Phelps,
and Calvin L (Belinda) Phelps; 4 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren;
siblings David Phelps, Bonnie Boring, Betty Norris, and Connie Phelps,
and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Teresa Sue,
son Robert G."Bobby" Phelps, sister Shirley Bartlett, Robert D. Phelps and James Phelps.
Services are Friday August 29,2025, at 1:00 PM at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home,
with Steve Blackwell officiating. The burial will be in Wells Cemetery. Visitation is
Thursday 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
