Stanley Robertson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 2, 2026.
Stanley Peter Robertson, lovingly known as "Stan" passed away peacefully in his sleep January 31, 2026 at the age of 86. Born on June 1, 1939 in Transvaal Florida, South Africa, Stan built a remarkable life defined by generosity, kindness and an upbeat, positive spirit. Moving his family to the United States in 1983, he lived in Southern California for many years before making his home in Georgia.

Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Stan is survived by his wife, Desiree Robertson, his three children, Gavin (Virginia) Robertson, Debbie (John) Davies and Charlotte (Randy) Pixley, and his grandchildren Bailey, Samantha, Nicholas and Christopher, each of whom he cherished with his warmth, guidance and ever-present smile.

Throughout his life, Stan was an entrepreneur at heart, a visionary who poured his energy and passion into building a lasting legacy. Among many other achievements, he was the proud owner of multiple successful businesses including Kids R Kids and Montessori Kids Academy. As a result of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many.

Stan, a devoted father and grandfather, was a problem-solver who often took on difficult projects both at home and at work. Outside of work, Stan loved birds, both as a hobby and as part of a racing team, as well as completing puzzles, often with the help of his grandchildren. Dedication to his family and those around him defined his life and those with whom he spent time. Stan will be greatly missed by his family and friends, with his legacy living on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him.

There will be a graveside service Sunday, February 8, 2026 for family and close friends, followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m. at the Hampton Clubhouse, 5990 East Hampton Circle, Cumming, GA 30041
