Stanley Shell aged 87 Years, 7 months, 14 days passed away on Jan 20, 2025, in Bunch, OK. Born June 6, 1937. He was the son of Charlie and Nellie (Seabolt) Shell.
He married Nadene Byrd on January 22, 1962. He worked with the Postal Service, as a Family Barber, with his final job of 17 years being with Whirlpool.
Stanley was a member of New Baptist Church and served as Song Leader up until he was not able to lead songs. He sang with Singing Shell Family for 30+ years. In his younger days, he enjoyed rabbit hunting and had several Beagles. He enjoyed being with his family, he was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. He loved golfing, watching Dr. Pol and he was a big OU fan. He loved picking on his nieces and nephews and was known as Pa to many of the children of the community. He served as a grandpa at Cave Springs Grandparent Program and loved all the students there.
He is preceded by his parents Charlie and Nellie (Seabolt) Shell, Daughter Karen Delaine Shell, Three Sisters; Madelyn Reynolds, Paulene Laughter, and Lorena Ross, Three Brothers; Johnny Sanders, Freeman Shell, and Soldier Shell, and Two Grandsons; Micheal Dean Shell Jr, and Tommy Ridge.
He is survived by his Wife; Nadene Shell of Bunch, OK, two brothers; Sam Shell of Bunch, OK, and Charlie Shell of Bunch, OK, five sisters; Ruby and Larry Jackson of Stilwell, OK, Mary Vann of Bunch, OK, Joyce Green of Tahlequah, OK, Nellie and Cliff Queton of Crowley, TX, Viola Fourkiller of Stilwell, OK, two sons; Micheal Shell of Bunch, OK, and Gregory Shell of Bunch, OK, Daughter; Stacy Shell of Bunch, OK, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
